The mid-sized Tenacious has a black G-10 laminate handle, milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Tucked inside are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle's rigidity and strength without adding non-functioning weight or bulky thickness. The 8Cr13Mov stainless blade is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for cutting performance. The blade's shape coupled with an oversized Spyderco Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine in slip-proof confidence ready for work. A Walker Linerlock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip lets you set your carry and draw preference: Tip-up/tip-down left-hand/right-hand. Screw together construction. this is a really solid folder, for any amount of money. i've got knives that i paid double if not triple for, and i can't say they're any better than the tenacious! locks up like a vault, no blade play in any direction, opens smoothly, and hair popping sharp! the full flat grind slices like nobody's buisness, the g-10 is nice and grippy without being too abrasive, and the pocket clip placement option makes this one of my favorite folders, and it didn't break the bank! spyderco has a true winner in this knife!

I bought this knife for the great price and for Spyderco's reputation and was immediately hooked. The fit and finish place this knife up there with the very best I've ever seen. The steel is a step down from VG-10, 154CM, S30V, etc... but definitely on par with 420HC, AUS8A, 13C26, etc... usable and easy to maintain. But the best part about this knife is the incredible build quality - this honestly feels like a knife that costs 5X as much. Fit and finish are absolutely perfect and I've never seen a better executed liner lock. You really should get this knife, it will change the way you look at bargain-priced knives - Spyderco has raised the bar with this one.

I'm very impressed with this knife. Locks up like a bank vault, centered blade, great feel and razor sharp out of the box. The price point for what you get really can't be beat. A whole lot of knife for the money.
