Detailed Description

Ladybug 3 - Foliage Green FRN

It attaches to your keychain and is nearly as small as your car keys, Spyderco's smallest lightweight knife is the Ladybug. Made of VG-10 stainless steel, the hollow ground blade comes in PlainEdge configuration. This modified clip-point blade style is matched up with a foliage green, lightweight handle of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) resin making the entire knife weigh only 0.6 of an ounce (18 grams). The LFGP3 doesn't have a clip but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard. Like its larger counterparts (and all Spyderco knives) the Ladybug 3 packs tremendous cutting power and can take on both fine and heavy cutting tasks.

Rides Like a Bug

After carrying in my jeans coin pocket for many weeks this is really a handy little knife. It certainly will not raise any eyebrows when you take out for use. The actual color is more of a grey then green. The knife came and has stayed super sharp. It operates very smoothly. After some practice you can open with one hand. For its size it is still comfortable in my hand. I gave it four stars only due to its higher price for the size. If your looking for a high quality usable super small knife, and don't mind the price,it should work for you.

This knife is awesome. The VG-10 steel is super, holding a razor sharp edge. The only reason I touched it up is because I wanted it as sharp as it could be. The hair, on my arms, is just about gone from testing the sharpness. The FRN handles are very attractive. There was a slight bit of lateral play, in the blade, that I removed by adjusting the pivot. For all, be aware that a #6 torx bit is needed to do any adjustments. The blade length is short enough to fit on my keychain while still functioning well.
