This SF Shovel cover is a simple design but it is well made; the materials used are good and the construction shows it should be long lasting. Very good rivets and taped seams should withstand the usual abuse it will take. It fits the SF Shovel like a glove and the rivet placement helps prevent the sharp edges from cutting into the stitching or fabric. One long strap and a loop for hanging allow me several carry options, but I might put a couple stitches on the strap to allow for a higher and lower option for attaching it to belts or packs.
