A Word About Cold Steel's Sword Canes
I've been collecting antique, as well as contemporary, sword canes and walking sticks for the past dozen or so years. And lucky for me, they all look the same to my wife, so it's been easy to add one here and there. My budding collection is highlighted by one peculiar English sword cane from the mid-1800's with the most unusual feature of a special repository for poison in the blade. I guess the gentleman who commisioned it long ago felt that if his adversary got away, the poison would finish the job later. Having the appreciation I do for quality sword canes from around the world, I must say that I am more than pleased with these offerings from Cold Steel. Now do not let the great prices fool you into thinking that these are not first class sword canes -- as they easily equal (or even surpass) sword canes that I've spent 3 to 4 times as much for. Sword Canes with Carbon Fiber Shafts
There are few weapons that can be put into action faster than a quality sword cane such as these from Cold Steel. Just give the handle firm tug and the blade will literally leap into your hand! These canes are available with four different grips (all are removable for engraving or personalizing) and feature a fiberglass carbon fiber composite shaft that is virtually unbreakable and can be used as a off-hand parrying tool or an emergency bludgeon.
The blades are made of 1055 Carbon steel and have a tapered square cross section with a wickedly sharp point for lethal penetration.
The basic grip style features a solid stainless steel head (CS88SCF).
They say that variety is the spice of life, and the Skull Head Sword Cane (CS88SCFS) will surely add spice to yours. Styled after earlier sword cane heads dating back a hundred years, its finely chiseled skull motif is a little confrontational and is likely to provoke conversation among curious onlookers. The finely sculptured features are cast out of thick-walled stainless steel, utilizing the lost wax process. It will surely last a lifetime, and make a fine addition to any collection.
Pistol Grip Sword Cane
If you are an experienced fencer or point oriented swordsman, you are going to love the new pistol grip sword cane (CS88SCFG). The pistol grip allows you to direct and control the point almost as well as the Foil, pe, or Small Sword you use in the Salle d'Armes.
