Intuitively pressure the release-slide forward and its spear-point edged steel fires and locks up with a unique three-point retention system with amazingly negligible blade play. I have to review this knife as a collector, and although I can carry it it where I live, provided it's in a sheath that's openly displayed, this is not an EDC knife, by any means. It's another of Benchmade's Black Class knives meant clearly as a weapon. And a great one it is. Extremely well made, quality through and through, and an incredible value when you put it against it's two compedetors who also produce similar knives. (Well, the value part may come from Jeff's spectacular pricing...retail is right up there).
If you've ever wanted a super quality OTF, sharpened on two sides dagger bladed automatic, this
is your chance. I knew that and that's why this was a must have for my collection.
