The flagship of the AMK line, the S.E.R.E. has been updated for the new millennium. Many of you probably remember when the original SERE was first introduced in 1984. Quite a bit has changed in the world of knives in the last few years - an evolution you might say, with great new blade steels, durable/lighter handle materials, more dependable locking systems and many other advances. The new S.E.R.E. 2000 has clearly evolved and meant to survive with its VG-10 steel blade, G-10 handle and liner lock mechanism. For more discreet carry, the blade and pocket clip are given a non-reflective black chrome finish. The unique pocket clip is top mounted to sit lower and more discreetly in your pocket and is easily reversible for right or left hand carry. Dual thumb studs also make it ambidextrous. Even its double stainless steel liners are heat treated for maximum strength.

Built like a tank that performs like a sports car, the S.E.R.E. 2000 is truly a terrific folder. In fact, I'd say that it's also one of the toughest folders we sell! Jeff
